Whitehopleman are currently retained as independent monitoring consultants by the Derba Midroc Cement Company for the development of their cement project in Ethiopia on behalf of the IFC, EIB, AfDB and DBE.

In November 2011 Whitehopleman were retained by Derba Midroc Cement to provide two 2-week intensive training programmes in cement manufacturing technology for the staff of their newly constructed cement factory at Derba in Ethiopia.

In October 2011 Whitehopleman were retained to forecast the cement manufacturing costs of more than 20 cement factories in Mexico.

In October 2011 Whitehopleman were retained to advise AD Little on the capital and operating costs of a prospective cement operation in Saudi Arabia in preparation for submission of a bid for an operating license.
 

In August 2011 Whitehopleman were retained by MGP Grinding to provide a due diligence technical audit for their cement grinding plant at Bergen op Zoom in the Netherlands.

In May 2011 Whitehopleman were retained by Dangote Cement to provide a 2-week intensive training programme in cement manufacturing technology for 60 staff of their newly constructed Ibese cement factory at Obajana in Nigeria.

In January 2011 Whitehopleman were retained as specialist industry consultants for the supervision of a feasibility study of a proposed 3 million tonnes per year cement factory in Indonesia.

In November 2010 Whitehopleman were retained by the ANCAP to provide an independent assessment of the cement plant project management arrangements for their plant expansion at Paysandú in Uruguay.

In October 2009 Whitehopleman’s project implementation monitoring role of the Derba Midroc Cement plant project for the IFC and other lenders was extended to include environmental and social monitoring.

In September 2009 Whitehopleman were retained by the ANCAP to provide an independent assessment of the cement plant project management arrangements for their plant expansion at Minas in Uruguay.
