In November 2011 Whitehopleman were retained by Derba Midroc Cement to provide two 2-week intensive training programmes in cement manufacturing technology for the staff of their newly constructed cement factory at Derba in Ethiopia.

In September 2011 Dr Clark of Whitehopleman delivered a ½ day workshop on the “a co-processing future for cement manufacturing” following the Cemtech conference in Warsaw, Poland.
In July 2011 Whitehopleman were retained to provide a 3-day training on grinding and milling technology in the cement industry by the Cement and Concrete Association of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur.
In June 2011 Whitehopleman were retained to provide a series of 1-day training sessions on cement kiln technology for the control room operators of Lagan Cement in Ireland.
In May 2011 Whitehopleman were retained by Dangote Cement to provide a 2-week intensive training programme in cement manufacturing technology for 60 staff of their newly constructed Ibese cement factory at Obajana in Nigeria.
In September 2010, February 2011 and June 2011 Dr Clark of Whitehopleman delivered a ½ day workshop on the “Manufacture of clinkers and cements with less embodied CO2” following the Cemtech conferences in Istanbul, Dubai and Bali.
In January 2010 Whitehopleman delivered a half-day seminar on volatile emissions from cement kilns for Cement Industries of Malaysia at their Bahau factory in Malaysia.
In December 2009 Dr Clark of Whitehopleman delivered a ½ day workshop on the “Reduction and control of mercury emissions from cement kilns” in Orlando, Florida.
In November 2009 Whitehopleman were retained to provide training in the hydration and product development of cement, by Cementos Argos in Colombia.
In June 2008 Whitehopleman delivered a 3-day training programme on grinding and milling technology in the cement industry for BASF in Treviso, Italy.
